Ummmmm…… Exsqueeze me! Is anyone else finding it hard to believe that it’s the end of a year?!?

2014. It has been a big year. Sometimes lovely. Sometimes an asshole. I’m not too sad to see it go but I’ll remember some parts fondly. Continue reading

Today is my last day at work before I take a couple of days off. I plan to thoroughly enjoy my mini break with my little misters and our nearest and dearest, eating too much, laughing too loudly and loving every second.

Before the crazy begins, I wanted to wish each of you the merriest of Christmases. I truly hope you have a wonderful day, however you celebrate. May the big day start way too early, be filled with fun, food and love; and end in stretchy pants, happiness and a big nap.

Thank you for keeping me company, reading my posts and joining in. I appreciate it all, so much.

I’d love to hear how your celebrations went!

Merry, merry Christmas and loads of love to you all,

Kate xx

Dessert anyone?

Christmas lunch is the best. It’s the one day of the year when it’s totally acceptable, expected even, to eat yourself into a food coma.

The annual feast is not complete without dessert. Even if you’ve eaten your own weight in seafood or roast or BBQ’d whatever, there’s always just enough room left for sweets. If you have little ones that just don’t do fruit cake or pudding then an alternate is definitely needed!
